The Authentic Honey Cake at Home

The crumbly, soft cake baked with goodness of wheat flour glazed with honey - the honey cake is a well-known treat across the bakeries of South India. It is one of the most delicious and wholesome healthy cakes that you’ll ever have. In this blog let’s walk through this simple and wholesome recipe, from the leading exporter of sunflower oil . Ingredients Whole wheat flour - 1 ¼ cups Baking soda - ½ tsp A pinch of salt Cold water - 1 cup Sugar - ½ cup Vanilla extract - ½ tsp Lemon juice - 1 tbsp Sunflower or neutral oil - ¼ cup Honey - 3 tbsp Rose water - 1 tbsp Any flavoured jam Method Grease a 6x6 inch cake or loaf pan of your choice with oil.
